I’ve Waited

I’ve waited all my life to know you

aimlessly drifting, always searching

then you came,

 

I’ve never known what it felt like to

be held, to be loved

then you came,

 

and caressed my soul with your love

and blew life into my heart with  your

kisses,

 

You came when I thought no one ever would

and showed me something new…….

 

I’ve waited all my life to love you.
